The U.S. Coast Guard Base Portsmouth is seeking a contractor to replace its main office entrance doors due to a failed locking mechanism and age-related wear. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Base Portsmouth (Department of Homeland Security) - Point of contact: Jamie Bridges - Products/Services Requested: - Demolition and disposal of existing doors, frames, and hardware - Furnishing and installation of one pair of 3'0" x 6'8" black storefront doors with frame and two sidelights - Medium 10-inch bottom rail - Standard push-pull hardware, dead latch, and surface closers - 1/4" clear tempered safety glass for doors and sidelights - Lock must be compatible with a small format IC core supplied by the Coast Guard - All labor, equipment, and materials required for installation, anchoring, trimming, caulking, and debris removal - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Site visit for field verification of quantities and conditions is encouraged - Compliance with Davis Bacon wage rates - Adherence to safety and environmental regulations for debris removal - Set aside 100% for small businesses under NAICS code 238350 (Finish Carpentry Contractors) - No specific OEMs or part numbers are specified in the solicitation - Performance period is up to 45 working days after award, with work generally performed Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 EST, excluding federal holidays

Description

Furnish all labor, equipment and material Demo and dispose of existing doors and frame, Furnish and install one pair of 3'0" x 6'8" black storefront doors with frame and two sidelights, medium 10 in bottom rail Doors to have standard push pull hardware and dead latch, surface closers and 1/4" clear tempered safety glass. Sidelights to have same glass. See attached Statement of Work. It is anticipated that this procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238350  Finish Carpentry Contractors and a small business size standard of $19.0 million. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. See FAR 52.212-1 for submission instructions & FAR 52.212-2 for evaluation criteria. All quotes must be submitted by 10:00AM Eastern Time on 08/21/2026 via email to Jamie.C.Bridges@uscg.mil and Frank.R.Burton@uscg.mil. Ensure blocks 14 (Include UEI) through 20c of the SF1442 and pricing are completed before emailing. Questions about this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer at the email addresses listed above no later than 08/18/26 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
