This is a combined synopsis/solicitation announcement for a commercial product prepared in accordance with the format in Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.202, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and supplemented with additional information. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to request quotes. Written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. The Veterans Administration, Alaska Health Care System, 1201 N. Muldoon Road, Anchorage, AK requires an ophthalmic ultrasound system and accessories, Brand Name or Equal (BNOE) to the VuMAXT HD B-Scan Imaging System with the required characteristics listed below. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2026-02 effective March 13, 2026. This RFQ number 36C26026Q0919 is issued as SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE and the Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees.
