This opportunity seeks a qualified contractor to deliver a turnkey design-build project for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at the City of Riverside's POE Building. - Government Buyer: - City of Riverside Public Utilities Department, Finance-Purchasing Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Ford (Ford Pro AC Charging Station 80A Series-2, part number FPC-AC0080ZC) - Products/Services Requested: - Fifteen (15) Ford Pro AC Charging Station 80A Series-2 (Level 2 EV chargers) - Part number: FPC-AC0080ZC - 80A, 208/240VAC, 19.2kW, SAE J1772 Type 1 connector - Includes supporting infrastructure: communication systems, switchgear, panels, disconnects, bollards, signage - Turnkey design-build services for installation - Site assessment, surveying, geotechnical services, electrical evaluation, load calculations, utility coordination - Preparation of construction and electrical drawings, permitting, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, training, and project closeout - Civil and site work, warranty support - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must hold a valid California Class A or C-10 license and be registered with CA DIR - Minimum three years of relevant experience for key personnel - Proposal bond equal to 10% of bid amount - Chargers must be code-compliant, support future expansion, and meet all local, state, and federal regulations - Project completion expected within sixty (60) working days from Notice to Proceed; contract term up to three years (two years plus one-year option) - Supports City’s fleet electrification and sustainability goals
