The Air Force Reserve Command at Youngstown Air Reserve Station is seeking a contractor to renovate Building 203 to support maintenance of C130J aircraft engines and propellers. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, 910th Airlift Wing, Youngstown Air Reserve Station - Scope of Work: - Design-build renovation of Building 203 (Engine Shop B203) for C130J engine and propeller maintenance - Construction of climate-controlled rooms for engine storage and propeller blade repairs - HVAC system procurement, installation, and commissioning compatible with Johnson Controls EMS - Demolition, fire suppression system relocation, electrical and structural modifications - Compliance with UFC, NFPA, and NEC standards - Products/Services Requested: - Renovation of Engine Shop B203 (1 lot, part number 0001) - Design-build services for climate-controlled engine and propeller maintenance areas - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Integration of digital HVAC controls with existing Johnson Controls Energy Management System - All work must be completed within 240 days from contract award - Set aside 100% for HUBZone Small Businesses under NAICS 236220 - Estimated contract value between $250,000 and $500,000 - OEMs and Vendors: - Johnson Controls (for HVAC controls integration) - All technical specifications and requirements are detailed in the attached Statement of Work and solicitation documents.

Description

This project provides the necessary upgrades to building #203 aircraft engine shop, to maintain the required number of new C130J aircraft engines and propellers to support the YARS mission. The renovations to building 203 include the construction of enclosed areas within the existing workshop, facilitating the ability to maintain and store engines on stands, as well as a room to perform repairs of the J-model propeller blades. These rooms will be temperature and humidity-controlled to meet storage and repair requirements.  Reference attachments for Statement of Work and Specifications
