The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of the Secretary (OST), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is seeking proposals to establish and operate the Region 6 Small Business Transportation Technical Assistance Center (SBTTAC): - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) - Office of the Secretary (OST) - Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) - No OEMs or commercial product vendors are involved; this is a technical assistance and service program - Services Requested: - Establish and operate the Region 6 SBTTAC to support small businesses in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and Guam - Capital infusion assistance for 120 transactions (e.g., loans, lines of credit, bonding, working capital) - 2,028 hours of individualized business counseling (procurement readiness, business planning, certifications, marketing, etc.) - 10 structured training workshops or programs (including at least three in-person sessions) - Outreach, stakeholder engagement, and referrals to USDOT programs (such as the National Bonding Education Program) - Full documentation and reporting of services and outcomes - Notable Requirements: - Applicants must be eligible nonprofit or educational organizations with demonstrated expertise in transportation contracting - 15% non-federal cost match required in the base year - Must meet specific organizational, staffing, and compliance requirements - No products or equipment are being procured; the focus is on service delivery and technical assistance

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of the Secretary (OST), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), announces funding availability to establish and operate the Region 6 Small Business Transportation Technical Assistance Center (SBTTAC). This cooperative agreement is for one award covering a 12-month base year with two option years based on performance.
