The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announces four sole source cooperative agreement awards to fund international health agencies including the Ministry of Health, Bhutan; National Influenza Center, Mongolia; Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, Philippines; and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Thailand. The awards aim to strengthen global influenza and other priority pathogen surveillance networks to detect and respond to infectious disease threats. The total funding for Federal Fiscal Year 2026 is approximately $2,900,000, with funding for subsequent years set at continuation. The award period is from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2031.
