The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to request approval for a new information collection related to the National Animal Health Monitoring System's Poultry 2027 Upland Gamebird and Duck Study. This study aims to collect statistically valid data on health and management practices of upland gamebird operations and commercial duck companies across the United States. The study will be conducted in two parts: a survey administered to upland gamebird operations via mail, web, or telephone, and a company-level questionnaire for duck companies. The collected data will support disease prevention, biosecurity, and animal health emergency preparedness efforts.
