The District of Saanich is seeking qualified facilities for the disposal of contaminated soil: - Government Buyer: - The Corporation of the District of Saanich (municipal government, Canada) - Scope of Procurement: - Service agreements for the disposal of contaminated soil exceeding Industrial land use standards (IL+) as defined by the BC Contaminated Sites Regulation (BC CSR) - Only permitted facilities located on Vancouver Island are eligible - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified, permitted disposal sites - Products/Services Requested: - Contaminated soil disposal services (no part numbers or physical products specified) - Service to be provided on an as-needed basis - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Facilities must be permitted to accept IL+ soil under BC CSR - Compliance with all relevant environmental regulations is mandatory - No minimum or maximum quantities specified; usage will depend on municipal needs

Description

This RFQ is an invitation by the Corporation of the District of Saanich for nonbinding quotations for the disposal of contaminated soil. The District seeks responses from permitted facilities on Vancouver Island capable of accepting soil exceeding Industrial land use standards (IL+) as per BC CSR. The RFQ aims to establish service agreements with permitted facilities on an as, if, and when requested basis. The District intends to contract with one or more entities. Delivery or work will be in regions on Vancouver Island.
