Description

The Township of Severn's Public Works Department is seeking a qualified hauling contractor to supply all labor and equipment necessary to haul, mix, and stockpile approximately 8000 metric tonnes of winter sand material and 480 tonnes of highway bulk salt. The sand has been pre-screened and is stockpiled at Severn's pit, with raw material supplied by the Township. The hauling will be to two separate works yard locations within the Township. The mixing process involves producing a uniform blend of screened winter sand with 6% coarse highway salt, and the blended material will be stacked into covered storage facilities at the works yard locations.
