The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking bids for the supply and installation of commercial laundry equipment at Itasca State Park's new laundry facility. - Government Buyer: - Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Parks and Trails, Itasca State Park - OEMs and Vendors: - UniMac (benchmark models: UWT045 washer-extractor, UT055 dryer, UniLinc soap dispenser) - Hydro Systems (Evolution Series soap dispenser) - Equivalent commercial laundry equipment manufacturers are acceptable - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) commercial-grade washer-extractors (minimum 45-pound capacity, high-speed extraction, programmable controls, stainless steel cylinder, cUL/UL certified) - Two (2) commercial-grade tumble dryers (minimum 55-pound capacity, programmable controls, LPG or electric compatible, cUL/UL certified) - Two (2) external automatic laundry soap dispensers (programmable, chemical-resistant, cUL/UL certified) - Delivery, placement, installation, utility connections, startup testing, and commissioning - On-site staff training for operation, maintenance, and safety - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All equipment must be new, current make and model, and suitable for high-frequency commercial use in a public facility - Equipment must fit designated space without construction modifications - Installation must comply with all applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and state safety standards - OEM Manufacturer’s Warranty required; option for post-warranty coverage - Only OEMs, authorized distributors, or manufacturer’s representatives may bid (no brokers) - Prevailing wage requirements apply for installation labor - Estimated contract value: $56,000 - The DNR may award by item, group, or total, and incomplete responses will be rejected

Description

The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for a contractor to provide and install two commercial-grade washer-extractors and two commercial-grade dryers with external soap dispensers to support laundry operations at Itasca State Park. The work includes delivery, placement, installation, connection to existing utility services, startup testing, and staff training on usage and maintenance. Equipment must be durable, suitable for high-frequency commercial use, and fit the designated space without requiring construction changes. The contractor must provide the OEM Manufacturer's Warranty and offer an option for warranty extension after the OEM warranty expires. All installation work must comply with applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and State safety standards. Responses must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal by August 11, 2026.
