Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division is seeking proposals for comprehensive psychiatric services for inmates at the Jefferson County Jail in Port Hadlock, WA. - Government Buyer: - Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Corrections Division, Jefferson County Jail - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified, licensed health care providers - Products/Services Requested: - Inmate psychiatric services, including: - Psychiatric health care (assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication management) - 24/7 emergency response and telephonic on-call psychiatric consultation - Nursing services (Registered Nurse, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric ARNP) - Medical doctor services - Administrative nursing support - Coordination of offsite appointments, pharmaceutical system management, protocol development, laboratory and x-ray coordination, special needs programs (e.g., for pregnant inmates), and electronic medical records maintenance - Minimum staffing requirements: - Psychiatric ARNP: 16 hours/month (telemedicine at least twice monthly) - ARNP: 10 hours/week (with prescriptive privileges) - Medical Doctor: 6 hours/quarter - Registered Nurse: 40 hours/week - Administrative RN: 2 hours/week (clerical and admin) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Facility has 57 beds and requires 24/7 mental health coverage - Proposals must include detailed staffing plans, pricing, and provider qualifications - Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including nondiscrimination - Insurance coverage is mandatory - Continuity of care required for inmate release or transfer - Telemedicine options are permitted and encouraged - Contract term is three years with up to two one-year renewals (total five years), with annual price adjustments possible after three years

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide professional services, related products, and services for inmate psychiatric care at the Jefferson County Jail. The solicitation requires licensed health care providers to perform psychiatric services for inmates. Proposals must be submitted electronically or in paper form by 4:00 PM Pacific Time on September 8, 2026. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to revise the solicitation schedule as necessary.
