Navy SBIR: AI/ML Tools for MBSE Acceleration and APNT Decision Support

The Department of the Navy, through the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), is seeking small business proposals to accelerate Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and enhance Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) operational awareness using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy (NAVSEA and NAVWAR) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; solutions must integrate with CAMEO Magic Draw SYSML (No Magic, a Dassault Systèmes company) - Products/Services Requested: - AI/ML tools to ingest and convert legacy AEGIS Combat System documentation into SYSML models for MBSE - Must support CAMEO Magic Draw SYSML environment - High accuracy and minimal human input required - Support for system design, cyber assessment, configuration management, and more - Software-enabled capabilities to unify and improve operator awareness and decision support for APNT systems - Data integration, visualization, and decision support features - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Solutions must rapidly transition legacy program documentation to MBSE - Must demonstrate feasibility, initial performance, and provide prototype delivery - Advanced phases may require classified work and security clearances - Dual-use application scaling for Navy and commercial use - Compliance with export control and security requirements - Proposals must be submitted via the DoD SBIR/STTR Innovation Portal (DSIP) - Open to small businesses, including those majority-owned by venture capital, hedge funds, or private equity
