Description
The Horticultural Society of New York is seeking qualified contractors to provide construction and installation services for the East Harlem Tree Corridor Project. The project involves transforming East 116th Street and East 125th Street into green corridors through tree planting, tree pit reconstruction, and streetscape improvements. The scope includes tree pit construction and pavement cutting, tree pit remediation, stump and dead tree removal, tree guard fabrication and installation, site work and restoration, and coordination with relevant agencies. The project is funded by a NYS Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant and runs through October 2029 with work scheduled on a rolling basis.
