Description
Kwikwasut’inuxw Haxwa’mis First Nation (KHFN) invites tenderers for the construction of erosion protection for the Shoreline Erosion Protection and Restoration Project. The work includes constructing shoreline protection on three pocket beaches within Gwa’yas’dums Village on Gilford Island, involving modular concrete block seawall, armour rock, and beach nourishment material over 283 meters of shoreline. Additionally, the project includes building 108 meters of boardwalk and installing four Awak’was, which are cultural viewing platforms or meeting places. All work must be substantially completed by February 15, 2027.
