This opportunity is for the procurement and installation of a new two-way (two-ram) baler system at the Camp Hansen Recycling Center in Okinawa, Japan, including decommissioning of the existing baler and comprehensive support services. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army (Camp Hansen Recycle Center) - U.S. Marine Corps Installation Pacific (MCIPAC Camp Hansen) - H&S Battalion MCB-Camp Butler (OPC 557 BOX 50) - OEMs and Vendors: - Excel Baler, LLC is specified as the manufacturer for both the baler and conveyor systems. - Products Requested: - Excel Model 2R63D Two Ram Baler (1 unit) - 20 HP electrical hydraulic system - Automatic bale tying, PLC touchscreen controls, NEMA 12 enclosure - ANSI Z245.5 and OSHA safety compliant - 3-5 tons per hour throughput - Excel Model 4815 Above-Ground Conveyor (1 unit) - 48" wide x 15' long, integrated with baler, safety interlocks - Services Requested: - Decommissioning and removal of legacy baler system - Delivery, heavy freight, and OCONUS drayage to site - Installation, wiring, commissioning, and testing of new baler and conveyor - Comprehensive training for recycling center personnel (safety, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting) - Preventative maintenance under a 1-year parts warranty, with semi-annual maintenance visits - Provision of technical documents, safety plans, and quality assurance reports - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Turnkey solution including all labor, materials, equipment, and training - Compliance with ANSI Z245.5 and OSHA safety standards - Training certificates and materials for staff - Work to be performed during standard business hours, with typhoon readiness and safety compliance - All deliverables must be new and fully integrated

Description

The MCIPAC Regional Contract Office is requesting services to decommission and remove a legacy baler system, and procure and install a new baler system in support of Camp Hansen Recycling Center at Okinawa Japan. The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, labor, and equipment required to decommission and uninstall the legacy baler system, install the new baler system, and provide preventative maintenance under the warranty prescribed under the Performance Work Statement.
