Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice  This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul 15 Procedures. Solicitation 36C26026R0109 is issued as a request for Proposal. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested. This solicitation is issued as open market, unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA has a requirement for a Contractor to provide grease traps replacement. The Contractor will remove and replace five (5) kitchen grease traps in accordance with the provided project specifications. Existing grease traps vary in size, but replacements shall be Zurn Z1170-400-ZS (stainless steel) or equal with mounting options required for the existing floors. Floors shall be cut as far back as necessary to remove, replace, and connect piping to the new grease traps. Grease traps shall be installed flush with floor level. Floors shall be patched to edges of new grease traps with like flooring materials; color matched with approval by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

A site visit will be conducted for this requirement on August 11, 2026, at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center Campus from 10:00 AM PST to 11:00 AM PST. Please see solicitation for more information on site visit instructions.
