FEMA's Louisiana Integration Recovery Office (LIRO) is seeking a contractor for secure on-site shredding services at two facilities in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. - Government Buyer: - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Louisiana Integration Recovery Office (LIRO) - Services Requested: - On-site shredding of sensitive documents and electronic media - Provision of 27 locking collection containers (94 gallons, minimum 200 lbs capacity) - 7 containers at New Orleans facility - 20 containers at Baton Rouge facility - Scheduled pickups: - Twice monthly in Baton Rouge - Monthly in New Orleans - On-site cross-cut shredding required - Immediate issuance of certificates of destruction after each service - Contractor must comply with security, confidentiality, and identification requirements - Contractor vehicles and containers must display company name - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - The procurement is for services, not products, and no part numbers are specified

Description

The contractor shall provide locking collection containers with a minimum capacity of 200 lbs. to collect shredding materials as directed by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Shredders bins shall be 94 gallons. All items in the collection containers shall be shredded on-site by the contractor. The contractor shall provide all equipment to perform this service.  Equipment shall be capable of cross-cutting the materials.  All contractor vehicles and collection containers shall be clearly identified with the company’s name. A certificate of destruction shall be provided to the COR or designated technical monitor immediately after each shredding service.
