On-Call Fire Sprinkler System Maintenance and Repair Services for Argonne National Laboratory

Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a licensed contractor for on-call maintenance and repair of water-based fire sprinkler systems across its 5 million square foot facility. - Government Buyer: - Argonne National Laboratory (operated by UChicago Argonne, LLC) - Located in Lemont, Illinois - Scope of Services: - Maintenance and repair of facility fire sprinkler systems on an as-needed basis for one year - Includes system modifications, piping revisions, dry pipe/deluge package repairs, main drain piping installation, major valve repair/replacement, and leaking pipe replacement - Services must comply with NFPA 13, 14, and 15 standards - Contractor responsible for removal and off-site disposal of debris - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be licensed and have 10+ years of experience - OSHA and safety training compliance required - Emergency response within 2 hours - Cost estimates must be submitted within 1-3 days - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or product quantities are identified in the solicitation - Evaluation based on lowest price and technical acceptability

THIS RFQ WILL BE EVALUATED BASED ON LOWEST PRICE, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE METHODOLOGY

Maintenance and repair of the facility's fire sprinkler systems, as needed, over a one-year period in accordance with the attached Appendix B Statement of Work.

Please review all applicable documentation and provide a proposal response no later than 5:00 PM CST August 11, 2026.

Within your proposal, please include a fully executed copy of the ANL-70 Request for Quotation.
