Description

NMMC has a requirement to relocate a McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II BuNo 165588 from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma to NMMC. The aircraft is currently being stored on the flight line of MCAS Yuma.  It shall be disassembled and loaded at MCAS Yuma and transported to its first destination at MCAS Cherry Point.  After the aircraft undergoes restoration at MCAS Cherry Point by Fleet Readiness Center East (FRC), the same aircraft will be loaded at MCAS Cherry Point and delivered to the NMMC Museum Support Facility (MSF) in Dumfries, VA.
