This opportunity is for a comprehensive Cross Connection and Backflow Prevention Survey at Joint Base Andrews, managed by the U.S. Air Force's 316 Civil Engineer Squadron. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), 316 Civil Engineer Squadron (CES), Joint Base Andrews - Scope of Work: - Complete inventory, inspection, and assessment of all backflow prevention devices in 337 facilities - Deliver detailed reports per facility, update DD1391 programming documents, and provide data exports compatible with the Air Force's NexGen IT system - Identify and recommend new or additional backflow devices as needed - Address discrepancies and provide contingency services for unforeseen conditions and emergencies - Key Requirements: - Contractor personnel must hold valid Maryland plumbing licenses and WSSC certifications - All work must comply with DAFMAN 32-1067, UPC section 603, ASSE standards 1001-1103, and AWWA M14, C510, and C511 - Supervision, labor, equipment, and materials must be provided by the contractor - Weekly and biweekly progress reporting is required - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; the focus is on services and compliance - Products/Services Requested: - Backflow prevention survey and assessment services (no specific part numbers or products listed) - Additional services for discrepancies, new devices, and contingencies - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Data deliverables must be compatible with Air Force NexGen IT - All work must be completed within 89 work days, with a 12-month performance warranty post-survey

Description

The required service is a complete inventory of all backflow devices installed on facilities identified in the JBA Cross Connection Survey Building List J.B. Andrews facilities; and to ensure that all devices are installed properly and are in compliance with the most recent codes and regulations specified or referenced in DAFMAN 32-1067, UPC section 603, and ASSE standards 1001 through 1103. The project will also perform an assessment of the same facilities identified in the JBA Cross Connection Survey Building List, to include the systems and equipment inside the facilities, and to give recommendations of where new, or additional, devices should be installed to ensure all plumbing systems are in compliance with the most recent codes and regulations specified or referenced in DAFMAN 32-1067, UPC section 603, ASSE standards 1001 through 1103, and AWWA M14, C510 and C511. The 337 facilities identified in the JBA Cross Connection Survey Building List require surveying. See Performance Work Statement for additional details.
