Description
The United States Air Force requires a vendor to procure and install a simulated acoustics system in the Band's rehearsal studio located at 201 McChord St, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC 20032. The contractor will decommission and remove approximately 84 loudspeakers from the existing LARES system. Thirty-two (32) loudspeakers will be removed from vertical surfaces and will require drywall patching and prep for repainting. This includes removal of all cabling and hardware from existing speaker install. The contractor will then work with L-Acoustics designers to design and install an L-Acoustics Ambiance system to meet the needs defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall provide detailed drawings, equipment lists, wiring schematics, and timelines during the planning phase. The drawings showing installation plans shall be approved by the Government team prior to the installation. At the conclusion of contract performance, a two-year on-site installation warranty and technical support service. A Site Visit was held on Wednesday, 12 August 2026 at 1300.
