Description

The USAF Band requires a concert venue that can accommodate an audience of at least 900 people. The venue must have professional lighting, staging, and production capability to support audio and video recordings. Our audio engineering team has specified that the stage must be at least 2,500 square feet. In order to establish a series and develop an audience with a consistent time and location, the USAF Band cannot split venues across the series, and therefore requires the venue to be available for all the requested dates. Government requires a performance space with a unique balance of tonal color and acoustical timbre that is complimentary to the ensemble and has enough space to accommodate the performers as well as equipment used in the production. Additionally, the venue must be within 15 miles of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling to accommodate trucking equipment.
