Description

The Fitzgerald and Ben Hill County Regional Solid Waste Management Authority is seeking an Engineering Firm to provide professional engineering services for the closure of the County's Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and Construction & Demolition (C&D) landfill units. The project includes site assessment, geotechnical investigations, surveying, regulatory coordination and permitting, engineering design, preparation of construction bid documents, construction administration and oversight, quality assurance/quality control, preparation of as-built drawings, post-closure documentation, and project closeout. Selection will be based on qualifications and experience with similar landfill closure projects. The project is funded through the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) and all contracts will be subject to applicable GEFA requirements.
