Description
This contract involves the removal of one northbound travel lane between NE 39th Street and NE Hazel Dell Avenue. A protected two-way bicycle facility will be implemented between E 40th Street and NE 45th Street, along with a separated two-way pedestrian path adjacent to the bicycle facility between the southern driveway of Covington House and NE 45th Street. Enhanced bicycle crossings will be provided at the intersections of F Street with E 39th Street and E 40th Street, and shared lane markings (sharrows) will be installed on F Street between E 39th Street and E 40th Street. The work must be physically complete within 75 working days from the Notice to Proceed.
