Cleveland Solicits Flex Post Supply and Installation for Bike Lanes

The City of Cleveland is seeking bids for the supply and installation of flex posts to enhance bike lane safety along W. 65th Street. - Government Buyer: - City of Cleveland, Division of Purchases & Supplies, for the Division of Traffic Engineering - OEMs and Vendors: - Qwick Kurb (Original Equipment Manufacturer for specified bollards and bases) - Equivalent products from other manufacturers are permitted if they meet specifications - Products/Services Requested: - 150 Qwick Kurb Big Bollards (Short L1265SH) with Slender Bender L54 bases, or approved equal - Part numbers: L1265SH (bollard), L54 (base) - Installation of all 150 flex posts along W. 65th Street bike lanes between Lorain Ave and Denison Ave - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Bidders may propose equivalent products, but must meet or exceed the specified performance and design - All shipping and freight charges must be included in the unit price - No price increases are allowed after award - Total contract value will not exceed $49,999 - Installation must follow the Division of Traffic Engineering's plan

Description

This solicitation is for the supply and installation of 150 Qwick Kurb Big Bollards (Short L1265SH) with Slender Bender L54 bases, or approved equal. The flex posts are to be installed along the W. 65th Street bike lanes between Lorain Ave and Denison Ave as per the plan for the Division of Traffic Engineering. The awarded purchase order shall not exceed $49,999. Bidders must comply with all terms and conditions and submit bids by August 10, 2026, 3:00 PM.
