The Moraga-Orinda Fire Protection District (MOFD) is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed contractors to provide wildland fuel management, tree removal, and hazard abatement services. The work includes fuel-break construction, hazardous-fuel removal, vegetation treatment, and preparation of material for pile or broadcast burning. Contractors must be licensed in California and have experience with similar work. The contract is anticipated to be for a three-year period with an option to extend one additional year, with a not-to-exceed amount of $2,000,000.
