Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on the Ohio River from mile marker 499 to 497 in Aurora, Indiana. This safety zone is to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment during an over water powerline replacement project. Entry into this zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Ohio Valley, or their designated representative. The safety zone will be enforced daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. from August 3, 2026, through August 9, 2026, or until operations are complete.
