The New England Fishery Management Council is scheduling a public webinar of its Joint Herring Committee and Advisory Panel to consider actions affecting New England fisheries in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). The webinar will discuss Atlantic herring specifications for 2027-2031 and make recommendations to the full Council for formal consideration and action if appropriate. The meeting is scheduled for August 18, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. EDT and will be held as a webinar with online registration available.
