The City of Jackson, Mississippi, through its Department of Planning & Development, is soliciting proposals for workforce training, technical assistance, contractor development, and participant support services under two initiatives: Track 1 - GreenWorks: Clean Energy and Resilience Jobs Training Program, which provides clean energy and resilience workforce training for 40 participants in HVAC or electrical pathways including certifications and life skills; and Track 2 - C2: Connect & Compete - Unlocking Opportunities for Contractors, which offers contractor development services for 75 participants across five cohorts with various training lots including licensure, business development, financial readiness, life skills, and mentorship. Proposers may respond to one or more lots and are not required to propose for both tracks.
