This opportunity is for the installation of a certified Category 6 (Cat 6) Structured Cabling System at the USDA APHIS Mexican Fruit Fly Dispersal Center in Reynosa, Mexico. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), IS Brownsville office and Mexican Fruit Fly Dispersal Center - Products and Services Requested: - Installation of a complete Cat 6 Structured Cabling System with 62 data points - Includes Cat 6 UTP horizontal cable (solid copper, 24 AWG, CMR rated, ANSI/TIA-568.2-D compliant) - 24-port modular patch panels (2 units, Cat 6 UTP, with identification labels and organizers) - Keystone jacks RJ45 (Cat 6 UTP, ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and IEC 60603-7-51 compliant) - Wall plates (1-2-4 port, Cat 6 compatible, with bend radius management) - Patch cords (Cat 6 UTP, stranded copper, factory-made, certified, 12m and 25m typical lengths) - Cable routing and management components (ducts, raceways, trays/ladders, rack management, grounding) - Services include: - Installation, labeling, certification, and documentation of the cabling system - Removal of all previously installed cabling except the new system - Preparation of as-built drawings and technical reports - Testing and certification of all 62 data points - Delivery of certification reports and detailed inventory - 12-month labor warranty - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All cabling and components must be certified (UL/ETL or equivalent) and compliant with ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and other relevant standards - Coordination required to avoid service interruptions during installation - Active network equipment and civil works are excluded from the scope - Small business set-aside - Estimated contract value between $25,000 and $100,000 - Performance period is 30 days from Notice to Proceed - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments.
