Sheppard Air Force Base, under the 82d Contracting Squadron and 362 TRS/RHE, is seeking small business quotes for CDDAR (Crash, Damaged, or Disabled Aircraft Recovery) Crane Rental Services to support aircraft recovery training operations. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command - 82d Contracting Squadron, 362 TRS/RHE, Sheppard AFB Annex - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Rental of a 50-ton truck-mounted or mobile crane - Certified/qualified crane operators - Services to support vertical lifting of KC-135 nose and F-15 airframes - 29 crane service events annually (one per CDDAR course) for five years - Coordination with Crash Recovery Instructor Supervisor and compliance with Technical Order 00-80C-1 - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Crane must be capable of at least 50-foot vertical lifts - Services are required for 29 classes per year, FY27-FY31 - Small business set-aside under NAICS 238990 - Firm Fixed Price contract; subject to cancellation if funds are not available

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in RFO Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding amendments. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number FA302026Q0064 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide CDDAR Crane Rental Services at Sheppard AFB, Texas. See attached SOW for a detailed description of the services sought. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.  Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. 

This requirement is set aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 238990, and the small business size standard is $19M.
