Description

The ITSE Grant Program aims to develop innovative traffic safety enforcement programs that effectively reduce motor vehicle crashes caused by risky driving behaviors such as speeding, impaired driving, occupant protection, and distracted driving. The program seeks projects that are repeatable and scalable for law enforcement use nationwide and align with the Department of Transportation's mission and executive priorities. Eligible applicants include state or local agencies, authorities, associations, educational institutions, or nonprofit organizations with the capacity to administer and implement the program.
