Description
Lubbock Independent School District is seeking the services of a Specialty Infusion Service(s) for Plan Participants for its self-funded health plan. The District maintains a self-funded plan relating to its medical and prescription drug plans, with medical insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas and prescription drug program through CVS/Caremark and Employers Health Purchasing Corporation. The selected Specialty Infusion Service Company will work closely with the Executive Director of Risk Management/Benefits/Payroll and consultants. The contract will be on a mutually agreed upon, per occurrence fee basis and paid directly to the selected company for services performed on behalf of plan members. The scope includes administration of high-cost specialty pharmaceuticals in home or alternate sites, clinical care plans and coordination, provider qualifications and network standards, and financial and pricing transparency.
