The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking General Engineering Consulting (GEC) Services for Regions 1 and 2, with two separate contracts to be awarded. - Government Buyer: - Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), 48401 TRANSPORTATION-2, DEPARTMENT OF - Scope of Services: - General Engineering Consulting (GEC) services for both Pre-let and Post-let phases - Covers Alternative Delivery program projects in Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 - Services include: - Concept development and design - Environmental studies and re-evaluations - Geotechnical investigations - Traffic and revenue analysis - Surveys and mapping (including aerial) - Costing plans and post-let submittal reviews - Technical Expertise Required: - Bridge, civil, environmental, geotechnical, traffic, construction, and utility engineering - Aerial surveys and mapping - Multiple NIGP codes listed to indicate broad engineering and consulting needs - Notable Requirements: - Prime firms currently serving as Engineer of Record (EOR) on a Design-Build team in a region cannot be the GEC for that same region - Firms may serve as EOR in one region and GEC in the other - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Two main service line items: one for Region 1 (Districts 1, 6, 7) and one for Region 2 (Districts 2, 3, 4, 5)

This solicitation is for General Engineering Consulting (GEC) Services in Regions 1 and 2 of the Georgia Department of Transportation.
