Description

This project involves three phases: expanding TSA security checkpoint lanes including demolition of existing restrooms and baggage storage offices; constructing five new baggage storage offices at the southwest corner of the terminal; and installing a second escalator from Terminal Level 1 to Level 2 along with relocating stairs and modifying the Sally Port. The work includes various construction and installation tasks such as drywall, ceiling, fire alarm and suppression systems, terrazzo, doors, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), cameras, PA system, signage, flooring, lighting, and cable tray relocation. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled at Salt Lake City International Airport. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is open for submissions until August 27, 2026.
