The OMH de Montréal (OMHM) is conducting a public open procedure for the complete demolition and reconstruction of the building known as Habitations Chester (488). The project includes all works according to contractual documents, such as asbestos removal, tree cutting and pruning, protection of existing trees, complete demolition including foundations, contaminated soil management, obtaining permits, and construction of a new 18-unit residential building with technical rooms. The new building will comply with CNB 2020, Novoclimat requirements, AMCQ, and will be similar to the existing three-story building designed for families, couples, and individuals. During construction, the housing units will be vacant.
