The acceptance of the contractor's proposal constitutes bilateral agreement to "issue" contractual documents as detailed herein. 1. Scope This contract/purchase order contains the requirements for manufacture of the LINING PAD, BHD. 2. Applicable Documents The documents listed below form part of this contract/purchase order including modifications or exclusions: Documents, drawings, and publications supplied are listed under "Drawing Number". These should be retained until an award is made. "Document References" listed below must be obtained by the Contractor. Ordering information is included as an attachment. The "Document Changes" section provides supersessions/changes to referenced documents. Order of Precedence In case of conflict between the text of this contract and the references/drawings, the drawings shall take precedence. Nothing in this contract shall supersede applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption is obtained. Requirements 3.1 Manufacturing and Design The LINING PAD, BHD furnished under this contract shall meet the material and physical requirements as specified on drawing 5945465-001 cage 53711. 3.2 Marking Unless specified otherwise, all items shall be marked and identified according to applicable Military Standards and Specifications, including MIL-STD-130, MIL-STD-1285, MIL-STD-454, MIL-P-15024/5, etc. 3.3 Configuration Control Follow MIL-STD-973 for configuration management, including submission of Engineering Change Proposals, Deviations, and Waivers. 3.4 Shelf Life Requirement Items must have at least 85% shelf life remaining upon receipt by the first Government activity, as per DOD 4140.27-M Shelf Life Management Manual. 4. Quality Assurance 4.1 Responsibility for Inspection The Contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements. The Government reserves the right to perform inspections to ensure compliance. 4.2 Responsibility for Compliance All items must meet all requirements of this contract. The absence of inspection requirements does not relieve the Contractor of responsibility. 4.3 Records Records of all inspection work shall be kept complete and available to the Government for 365 days after final delivery. 5. Packaging 5.1 Preservation, Packaging, Packing, and Marking In accordance with the Contract/Purchase Order Schedule and MIL-STD 2073. 6.
