1. Description

The USDA intends to issue a Request for BPA Call Order Proposal under the existing USDA NRCS Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The Government requires an Archeological and Cultural Resource Services firm to conduct a Cultural Resources intensive ground survey for a proposed Irrigation Well and Pipeline Project in Worcester County, Massachusetts.

This is a diversified, medium scale vegetable farm that was historically a dairy farm. The farm has a need for irrigation to supply sufficient water to the farming operations. NRCS has planned and designed an irrigation system that would consist of approximately 2,500 feet of 4” diameter HDPE irrigation pipeline installed at a depth of 4 feet from the ground surface and associated riser hydrants. A 6” diameter bedrock well is planned to be installed up to a depth of 700 feet.

Because this project is located on or near archeologically sensitive landforms and archeological sites, an intensive ground survey including soil test pits along the length of the proposed pipeline is required.

2. Competition

This requirement will be requested by one existing Small Business BPA holder under their previously awarded Firm‑Fixed‑Price BPA:

• 12FPC426A0003    Gray and Pape Inc.

3. Contract Type

A Firm‑Fixed‑Price call order will be issued under the applicable BPA.

4. Set‑Aside Status

This BPA call order will remain under the original small business set-aside associated with the BPA Master award.

Only the BPA holder listed in Section 2 is eligible.  No responses from non‑BPA holders will be accepted.
