The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Mud Lake Feedlot Facility is seeking quotations for the supply and delivery of Alfalfa Hay. - Government Buyer: - USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Acquisition and Property Division, Mud Lake Feedlot Facility - Product Requested: - 110 tons of Alfalfa Hay - Delivered in 4ft x 4ft x 8ft square bales (approx. 1 ton each) - Bales must be 100% Alfalfa (max 5% grass), USDA Fair or greater quality - Relative Feed Value (RFV) of 130 or higher - Free from mold, weeds, and foreign debris - Each load must include a certified scale weigh slip (gross and tare weights) - Delivery includes unloading and stacking four-high at the facility using contractor equipment - Notable Requirements: - Delivery must be coordinated in advance and occur Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - All hay must pass ARS inspection and RFV analysis before delivery - Total small business set-aside under NAICS 111940 - Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror - No specific OEMs or branded vendors are named in the solicitation

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1168 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 110 tons of Alfalfa Hay (1 ton bales).
