The U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Santiago, is seeking licensed electrical contractors for the installation of galvanized steel electrical conduit infrastructure to support the relocation of Post 1 operations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Santiago, General Services Office (GSO) Procurement - Scope of Work: - Installation of nine 3-inch and four 4-inch galvanized steel conduits (approx. 180 linear meters) - Core drilling through reinforced concrete walls and installation within an HVAC shaft - Includes structural supports, pull boxes, flexible conduit at expansion joint, pull strings, and identification tapes - Restoration of penetrations and finishes as required - Services Requested: - Complete conduit installation services (labor, materials, equipment, supervision) - Safety plan implementation and coordination with Embassy personnel - Requirements: - Contractors must be licensed and have a local presence in Chile - Performance bonds and safety plans are mandatory - Payment in Chilean Pesos; firm-fixed-price contract - Notable Details: - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are specified; focus is on installation services and materials meeting project specifications - Pre-installation submittals required within 10 business days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) - Installation must be completed within 30 business days after NTP-Issuance - Proposals must be submitted in English and vendors must be registered in SAM

The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for FAC Installation Services, Conduit installation for moving Post 1

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract  to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.  We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference at the site, The pre-proposal conference will be held on August 12, 2026. at 10:00 a.m.( local time)  at the U.S. Embassy Santiago (Avda Andrés Bello 2800, Las Condes). Proposals are due by September 04, 2026 at 15:00 hrs. (local time)  No proposals will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be in English and incomplete proposals will not be accepted

Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
