Snow Removal and De-Icing Services for SHDM Buildings (12 Lots)

The Société d'habitation et de développement de Montréal (SHDM) is seeking qualified contractors to provide snow removal and de-icing services for its properties. - Services required include: - Snow removal from parking lots, sidewalks, and other exterior spaces - Spreading of abrasives and/or de-icing materials - The procurement is divided into twelve separate Lots, each representing a distinct group of SHDM buildings - Each Lot will result in a separate contract awarded to the lowest conforming bidder - Bidders may bid on up to three Lots - Contract duration covers two winter seasons, with an option for one additional renewal season - Bidders must provide: - A bid bond of $10,000 per Lot (up to three Lots) - A letter of intent for a performance bond of $10,000 per Lot (up to three Lots) - Proof of general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named, as this is a service-based procurement - Awards will be made based on lowest conforming bids for each Lot

Description

This solicitation is for snow removal services including the spreading of abrasives and/or de-icing materials at parking lots, sidewalks, and other spaces of SHDM buildings. Twelve contracts will be awarded, each corresponding to a specific Lot, for two winter seasons with an option for one renewal season. The award will be based on the lowest conforming bid for each Lot. Bidders must provide a bid bond and a letter of intent for a performance bond, and maintain general liability insurance. The contract duration is approximately from November 15, 2026, to April 15, 2028.
