This opportunity is for janitorial services at the USDA National Arboretum in Washington, DC, managed by the Agricultural Research Service (ARS). - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), United States National Arboretum (USNA), NEA - Office location: 3501 New York Avenue NE, Washington, DC - Scope of Services: - Comprehensive janitorial/custodial services for approximately 35,586 square feet - Tasks include daily trash collection, recycling, floor maintenance (carpeted and non-carpeted), restroom cleaning, miscellaneous cleaning (doors, walls, windows, elevators, dusting, drinking fountains, stairways), and restocking supplies - Bi-weekly deep cleaning of restrooms and twice-monthly floor buffing/burnishing - Support for routine special events (about 7 per year) with possible additional staffing - Contractor must provide all labor, supplies, equipment, and training - Cleaning and buffing schedules must be submitted and coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) - Contract Structure: - Small business set-aside (including EDWOSB, WOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone) - Firm-fixed price contract - Base year (12 months) plus four 12-month option years (potential total of 5 years) - Unique Requirements: - Services must be performed daily between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET, excluding federal holidays and December 25 - Adherence to federal and USDA policies - Demonstrated technical capability, relevant experience, and past performance required - Site visit scheduled prior to proposal submission - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are referenced; all janitorial supplies and equipment are to be provided by the contractor.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0932 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Janitorial Services.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720  The small business size standard is $22.0 million  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
