Notice of Intent to Sole Source

DSRT

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award for the procurement of DSRT REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES to be procured to SERICORE.  Demolition System Remote and Timed (DSRT) Basic Kit. Sericore Technologies, LLC is the sole source for these services. These items are used in both training and operational demolition operations.Sericore Technologies LLC is the sole manufacturer of the DSRT and SRFI Remote Systems. The systems incorporate a specialized radio system developed with NSA oversight and is optimized for high-noise urban and open range environments, secure communications over AES rolling encryption, and provide unmatched output power (380V 1o Joules) in a size weight and power (SWAP) reduced ruggedized chassis. As the original manufacturer, Sericore is the only company authorized to repair the devices should damage occur during operations.

The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this work  IS LISTED ABOVE, with a Small Business Size of $12.5MIL. This notice of intent is for information purposes only.  All sources eligible to provide this requirement must respond in writing.  Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above.  A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response.  If no responses are received, within 3 calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable items are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a sole-source contract, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
