The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services, is seeking a jurisdictional public health department to provide professional informatics and epidemiological support for electronic case reporting (eCR) of occupational lung diseases. - Government Buyer: - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) - Office of Acquisition Services, Chamblee Campus Building 108 - Scope of Work: - Implement, expand, and validate eCR for occupational respiratory diseases (silicosis, asbestosis, work-related asthma, mesothelioma) - Author and refine Reportable Conditions Knowledge Management System (RCKMS) logic sets - Establish or enhance eCR connectivity and validate eCR trigger performance - Analyze surveillance data and develop standardized occupation/industry data workflows - Prepare interim and final technical reports, and dissemination materials (including a webinar and written resources) - Deliverables: - Interim report on eCR infrastructure, RCKMS connectivity, data quality, and challenges - Final report with implementation experience, data analysis, recommended revisions, and a mesothelioma rapid case ascertainment concept plan - Webinar recording, slides, and written implementation resources (digital copies) - Notable Requirements: - Focus on public health informatics and epidemiological expertise - No specific OEMs, products, or part numbers are named - Contractor must support data validation and dissemination of findings - Period of Performance: - One-year contract

Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), seeks a qualified jurisdictional public health department to provide professional public health informatics and epidemiological support services to implement, expand, and evaluate electronic case reporting (eCR) for occupational respiratory diseases, including silicosis, asbestosis, work-related asthma, and, where feasible, malignant mesothelioma. The contractor shall establish and/or enhance eCR connectivity, develop and refine Reportable Conditions Knowledge Management System (RCKMS) logic sets, validate eCR trigger performance, analyze surveillance data, develop standardized occupation and industry data workflows, and prepare technical reports and dissemination materials. The anticipated period of performance is one (1) 12-month base period 09/01/2026 thru 08/31/2027. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. Proposal Due Date and Point of Contact Proposals are due no later than 12:00 PM (Noon) EST on August 15, 2026 via SAM.gov; Questions are due 12:00 PM (Noon) EST on August 10, 2026. The Government may not consider proposals received after the established closing date and time.
