ALERT is seeking proposals for a dual-site, petabyte-scale enterprise file storage and tape backup solution to replace existing storage and tape library infrastructure at two Alberta datacentres. The solution must support large multimedia workloads, SMB file services, high availability, data protection, and ongoing backup and recovery operations. The scope includes enterprise file storage, LTO-10 tape libraries, backup software and licensing, tape media, ancillary hardware and software, installation, configuration, testing, training, and five-year manufacturer support. The contract duration is approximately 3 months starting around December 21, 2026.
