NIST's Physical Measurements Lab, Time and Frequency Division, is seeking to procure high-precision Time Scale Output Synthesizers for its Time Realization and Distribution Group. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Physical Measurements Lab, Time and Frequency Division - Contact: Lisa Stevens (Contracting Officer) - Products Requested: - Four (4) Time Scale Output Synthesizers - Must provide continuous time scale output with very low additive phase noise (< -100 dB/Hz at 1 Hz offset) - Programmable fractional frequency tuning (range >1e-10, precision <=1e-17) - Phase programmability resolution = +10 dBm) and one PPS output (3V into 50 Ohm or TTL) - Input reference frequency: 10 MHz; input PPS for coarse synchronization - Programming interface: RS-232, USB, or Ethernet - Power: 120V or 208V AC at 60 Hz, with 24V DC backup - Standard 19-inch rack mounting (width < 482.6 mm) - Delivery split: 2 units to Boulder, CO and 2 units to Gaithersburg, MD - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must demonstrate technical capability and provide warranty details - Firm fixed pricing including shipping (FOB Destination) - Delivery, installation, and training required within 12-18 weeks after receipt of order - Evaluation based on technical capability, schedule, warranty, and price - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named; vendors must meet or exceed the detailed technical specifications
