Description

The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is requesting comments on the extension of the information collection related to Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). This collection supports the implementation and compliance monitoring of various FTAs by collecting data such as importer/exporter information, goods description, tariff classification, country of origin, and preference criteria. The information collection facilitates trade by reducing barriers and ensuring proper preferential claims under FTAs. Comments on this extension must be submitted by September 2, 2026.
