Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory includes remains of at least eight individuals and 371 associated funerary objects from seven archaeological sites in Missouri. The notice determines a cultural affiliation between these remains and The Osage Nation. Repatriation of these items may occur on or after September 2, 2026.
