Description
This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price delivery order to Applied Energy Technology Corp (CAGE: 57597, UEI: F44BNYN871L1) for the acquisition of F-35 Fire Extinguisher Cartridges The estimated award date is 30 September 2026. The estimated period of performance is 360 days after date of contract (ADC). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Applied Energy Technology Corp, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.Additionally, this contract action will be awarded as an order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA N0017426G1001) between the Government and Applied Energy Technology Corp. Purpose of this Notice: This BOA Order is being pursued on a sole source basis under authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as is implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Applied Energy Technology Corp is the only known, qualified responsible source that has the ability and resources necessary to fulfill the requirements herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Applied Energy Technology Corp 1585 HELM RD, BURTON, TX 77835-5757. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
