Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought Notice. SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS code 339113 (size standard of 800 Employees). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 02 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide two (2) Stryker System 9 Surgical Saw And Drill or equivalent with the requirements listed below: The VA NYHHS requires the procurement of Surgical Saw and Drill System and associated accessories to support orthopedic, trauma, podiatry, hand, spine, and reconstructive surgical procedures performed in the NYHHS Operating Room (OR). The equipment provides surgeons with reliable, high-speed powered instrumentation necessary for precise bone cutting, drilling, reaming, pin placement, and other orthopedic surgical applications. Technical Requirements The Contractor shall provide commodities that meet or exceed the following requirements:

System 9 Dual Trigger Rotary Handpiece The primary powered handpiece used during orthopedic procedures for drilling, reaming, screw insertion, wire placement, and other bone preparation tasks. It provides surgeons with precise speed and directional control. System 9 Reciprocating Saw Used to perform controlled back-and-forth bone cuts during orthopedic and trauma procedures where precise cutting in confined surgical spaces is required. System 9 Sagittal (Digital) Saw Used for accurate linear bone cuts during joint replacement, osteotomy, and reconstructive surgeries. It allows surgeons to make precise cuts while minimizing damage to surrounding tissue. Dual Trigger Wire Collet Securely holds Kirschner wires (K-wires) during orthopedic fixation procedures, enabling accurate wire placement. Dual Trigger Pin Collet Designed to securely hold orthopedic pins used for fracture fixation and external fixation procedures. Hudson Attachment Allows the rotary handpiece to drive a wide variety of orthopedic drills and reamers utilizing the Hudson connection standard. 1/4-inch Locking Keyless Chuck Provides secure attachment of drill bits without requiring additional tools, allowing efficient instrument changes during surgery. AO Small Attachment Supports the placement of small AO-compatible orthopedic implants commonly used in hand, wrist, foot, ankle, and upper extremity procedures. Hudson/Modified Trinkle Attachment Provides compatibility with Modified Trinkle surgical instruments used during specialized orthopedic procedures. AO Large Reamer Attachment Used for intramedullary reaming and preparation of long bones prior to orthopedic implant placement. System 9 Large Batteries Rechargeable sterile batteries provide continuous power to surgical handpieces, minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted surgical workflow. Sterile Battery Charger Maintains battery readiness while preserving sterility for immediate use during surgical cases. Three-Handpiece Solid Sterilization Container Bundle Provides safe storage, transport, and sterilization of powered surgical instruments while protecting equipment and maintaining sterile processing standards.

Performance Period: Vendor must provide deliverable items within 90 days of award, unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer.
